Born from coffee, community and the coast, Sundays is a beachside coffee house in sleepy Port Waikato. The small, wholesome offering serves West Coast locals and visitors alike, with premium coffee, freshly made food and good vibes.

Owner, Kaitlen Ridings, said goodbye to her 9-5 in the pursuit of a sustainable lifestyle where everyday is like a Sunday – slow, simple and spent with friends. This change of pace, paired with her kind nature, set the foundation for a happy and easy-going brand.

Just like a Port Waikato sunset, the Sundays brand was designed to be grounded, authentic and warm.

The Sundays wordmark logo is salty and fresh, while the secondary type feels contemporary, calm and cool. The playful palette of brand colours is a trendy take on Port Waikato’s marshmallow skies, endless sand dunes, and untouched surrounding landscape. The lineal illustration is inspired by the town’s rugged, ever-changing coastline, while the handdrawn circle symbolises the setting sun.
